PERTH increases the oxygen content in blood

PERTH deepens breathing, causing more oxygen to be transferred via the lungs into the blood. The blood transports the oxygen into the cells whose nourishment is improved, and waste products are discharged more rapidly.

The partial pressure of oxygen (pO2) increases following 10 minutes PERTH by an average of 61.1% for more than two hours (extract from the postdoctoral thesis of Prof. Dr. Dr. Reinhard Werner).
